Discussions should be pointed to the issues at hand and not at the person discussing them. Members should be prepared that this line may blur at times. Reach out to a mod if you have a concern.

We are all allowed to disagree and have differing views and opinions.

Disagreements should not be viewed as a personal attack. It is merely a difference of opinion on a particular topic.
a. Sometimes a negative opinion may be expressed about a topic that may feel as though it is directed at someone in particular, when it is merely a generalized statement. If you feel that this is a personal attack, please bring it to the mods’ attention.
b. There is a difference between saying “I dislike this ship” and “I dislike the people who like this ship”.
c. This is a two-sided coin: we need to be mindful of how we say things, but we need to also remember that nuances in conversation and tone are sometimes lost in text. -
Sometimes the best option when conversation has stalled is to simply walk away.

Suffocating Miasma
a. This channel is for discussion of anything fandom related.
b. Posting links and discussion to stories about incest, age gaps, etc are allowed here as long as it remains critical and of a proper nature. If a story or conversation has been deemed inappropriate, a mod will remove the content and inform all involved that that line of conversation is not allowed. This is not a warning or some other action of punishment, but individuals found repeatedly posting problematic links or takes may have action taken against them up to, and including, being banned from the server. -
Character Chaos
a. This channel is for discussion of anything related to characters within fandom.
a1. Expression of your dislike of a character or a character’s actions is allowed, but keep your commentary directed at the characters involved.
a2. Some of your favorite characters may be discussed in an unflattering light.
- Anything Tropes
a. This channel is for the discussion of anything related to tropes that we see in fandom.
a1. These tropes may include things that are controversial and problematic. Some of these conversations may be triggering, and you should make an effort to avoid the channel while that trope is being discussed.
a2. Conversations may also include tropes that you may personally enjoy that others do not and vice versa.
